Sky Sports understands Chelsea are set to reward young defender Aziz Deen-Conteh with a new contract.

Deen-Conteh has come through the ranks at Chelsea and is highly rated by the club's coaching staff.

The left-back has yet to make the breakthrough into the first team at Chelsea, but he is a regular in the club's reserves side.

The Blues are now in talks about offering Deen-Conteh a contract extension to secure his long-term future at Stamford Bridge.

The 19-year-old, who was born in Sierra Leone, has represented England at Under 16 and Under 19 levels and could still represent the country of his birth on the international stage.

The club usually extends contracts on good young players, if his performance has been good, im sure his contract will be extended.
