I heard that a new £38m bid for Luka Modric is now underway, to be funded by Yuri Zhirkov's transfer, as he is going to be transfered to Anzhi Makhachkala for £13m.

I think £38 for a player like Luka Modric, is just too much, this guy hasn't really shown that much to be worth that much, he might be just slightly over rated.

But I would laugh if Spurs reject that offer. I have a feeling that he has a good chance to come to the Bridge.

Man u will obviously buy sneijder, we need to hurry on in getting a creative midfielder than waste time bidding for modric, because spurs will not sell him!

Sneijder would be good for chelsea, but i guess he is quite old.
My ideal player would be a younger one, similar to Modric, doesnt have to be a good player, just someone willing to be creative in that area.

A lot of over-rated players.

I can see Chelsea increasing their bids for Modric, maybe up to £35 mil.
Too bad, even at £50 mil spurs probably wont let him go. Too over-rated for that price.
