Hello from BlueBeard!

I've been following Chelsea since the mid 1960's, so I'm obviously an old git. I've seen some great times and some shite times at the Bridge, but my support has never wavered. For any opposition fans who want to know "where were you when you were sh*t", my answer is, I was probably in your home end kicking the crap out of your dad.

My favourite ever Chelsea player has got to be Peter Osgood - if he played in todays game he'd be priceless. In the current team it's a bit more difficult to pick a favourite, but if push comes to shove I'll go for Danny Sturridge.

I moved away from London in the mid 80's, and currently live on the south coast of England. I don't go to games much nowadays due to the expense, dodgy health, and lack of terracing.

Welcome to the site. It's a little quiet at the moment, but the potential is certainly there. What this site becomes is, I think largely down to us ..

Oh and you're just a slightly older old git than me!

I think you have to make a minimum number of posts before you can upload your own avatar.

Right now all you can do is change it to the current solitary preset: Forum Actions/Edit Profile/Edit Avatar, then select the "Pre-defined Generic Avatar", then when you've made a few posts, come back and upload your own.

So, get into Musical Connections and build up posts! I got to upload an avatar in no time. But I've gone off that one already so will soon be changing.

Hello mate! Things could be better, but then again they could be worse - how about you? I hear congratulations are in order, or have I got that wrong?
