So who do you think will be or should be their replacements?

Well for Anelka, I don't think we will have a replacement, because we have Torres.
If Drogba leaves, then im sure there will be a replacement for him.

At the moment we have too many strikers. (Sturridge could be one too)

For Alex, im sure AVB will start spending for 1 or 2 defenders, hopefully David Luiz can learn from his mistakes and become a world class defender.

I wonder if Drogba will leave this season.
We clearly still need him at the moment, unless Torres finds his form again.

Of course we do need him. But the thing down here is about the players who are getting a little older. Sure, other clubs have older players as well, but if this issue is taken in a serious matter then the problems would stand out something like this :
    1. Their pace changes thus affects their playing style.
2."Talks" arises about player getting old and should leave.. blah.. blah..
3.In sports a lot of concentration is required, so after all 'these' the player eventually wants to leave.

Now I dont know what Drogba wants, but I truly want him to stay and play for Chelsea as long as he's alive! As this is CLEARLY NEVER POSSIBLE, So, I think the manager should come up with the best idea which'll be suitable for the team and its players equally.
AVB should spent a lot of time on this 'cause Torres seems to be working really hard but none of these hard works are paying off =/
Not sure about the future now, just hoping the decision to be very WISE.

Lots of rumours on the transfer window.
I think AVB will bring in a few players.

There's been a lot of talk about Alex, especially being frozen out. However, there are now indications that Alex asked for a transfer because he wants to go home to Brazil:

    Alex wants 'something special'
Chelsea defender could return to Brazil in January

Chelsea defender Alex has admitted it will take 'something special' for him to remain in Europe, with a January return to Brazil on the cards.

The powerful centre-back has been told he can leave Stamford Bridge when the transfer window opens after falling out of favour under manager Andre Villas-Boas.

A number of leading European clubs have been linked with a move for the former Santos player, whose last appearance for the Blues came in their Carling Cup defeat by Liverpool in late November.

The 29-year-old accepts he will not receive the riches on offer in the Premier League if he returns to his homeland, but will accept a switch to South America unless an eye-catching offer emerges elsewhere.

He said: "I knew when I asked for a transfer I wouldn't get the same salary in Brazil as I get at Chelsea. It will be hard to even come close.

"The Brazilian league is very good. Unless something special comes along I'll go home."
