Maybe yoo should only be able to view the introduction forum if yoo are not a member and they have to register andpost in the introduction forum to view the rest of the chat rooms?
Would this help maybe in anyway?

I think if people can't view the forum and threads, they most likely won't bother joining, thats my point of view.
yeah but if they can see the threads they just read them and dont even sign up, lol
Don't think that will work, me personally wouldn't bother joining a forum that doesn't let you preview everything.
The only reason I would ever join a forum, is when I needed something and had to register to view it, but right now, theres nothing in here that people need right?
Yeah but this forum lets yoo see everything read everything with out even registering, so people dont bother cos they can read everything without posting, so most people wont join.. well i dunno its hard to get new members, didnt think it would take this long lol .
yeh i kno, but im sure no 1 is too bothered, the best forums are the chelsesa transfer talk, the match chat (with yoor posts on the games and yoor guess at the tactics, which i like and enjoy reading them) and maybe a few other forums i cant think of off the top of my head.
Maybe create youtube vids on Chelsea and advertise there haha.
yeah but who has the time to do that, i dont kno how to do it for a start lol.
look at this..
How do we turn these into members.. its like this far too often.
Also most ever was 48 users online yet we have less members, i really cant get my head around it.
I've just joined, and have to tell you I find all these pictures at the bottom of your posts very distracting. I am looking for intelligent exchange of opinions rather than teenage-type flashcards!
just sittin there viewing text is boring. its a football forum for fun. its not jus about the banter. yes forums are for chats etc. but they are called forum signatures for a reason. to be used lol.
go on to most chelsea forums they are full of images etc. so i fort this one is pretty clean.
never the less there not on anymore so its all gravy![]()
Theres always an avatar though.
I don't mind, page generally loads a bit faster I must admit.
I agree realisoph. Signatures, especially those with images, are repetitive, and messy. What's the "fun" in wading through a thread that's a lot bigger than it has to be?
But you don't have to just view text. You've also got video and picture options. Apart from the obvious Chelsea images and videos, among the newer threads, we've got Musical Connections - I think it would be excellent if some of the longer term members could also join in - and the Pin-Up Thread - you won't see a lot of boring text there either!just sittin there viewing text is boring
Don't fancy Kate Upton or Xenia Tchoumitcheva? Post your own favourites!

I tried uploading some pics in the pinups thread, but they appeared as thumbnail images - how do I post a full-size pic?
On the subject of low membership, I'm sure you're very much aware that there's another Chelsea site with a very similar name to this one. I actually registered on that site by mistake, thinking it was this one! I certainly wouldn't recommend the other site, it took over 24 hours for my initial post to be accepted - it was also my last post.

I didn't have a lot of joy uploading directly to the site either. All the images I've posted have been either uploaded to Tinypic, or posted from remote URLs.
I've also needed to uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" which, when enabled, always gives an "Invalid URL message.
As for the other site, I almost made the same mistake. However, in fairness changing the domain name isn't always so straightforward. On the other hand renaming the site but keeping the same domain name (with logo to match), might just make all the difference.
How about Chelsea White Wall, for instance?
Chelsea White Wall has a certain ring to it
I've been messing around, trying to come up with an Chelsea White Wall banner. Best I've managed so far is this:
Ok I know my skills as a designer leave a lot to be desired. But it's an idea, one I'm sure someone with genuine talent will be able to improve on.
That looks brilliant, Hutch! I have no talent at all in that direction, so I certainly couldn't improve upon it.
What puzzles me is when you check who's online, the number of times someone gets an error message for trying to post a message or even create a new thread without bothering to register.
Having got the error, why don't these people simply register? Yes you non-registered muppets, I'm talking to YOU.
And if you don't like being called a muppet, tell me about it!*
*But you'll have to register first!
